Membership Classifications

Regular Member: Any individual who has served honorably in the U.S. Army and with the 11th Engineer Battalion meets the criteria to be a Regular Member.

Associate Member: The surviving spouse of a Regular Member is eligible for an Associate Membership.

Member Emeritus: A member who has served the Association with distinction may be granted the title of Member Emeritus by the Board of Directors

Honorary Member: The Board of Directors may appoint Honorary Members in recognition of their significant contributions made to the United States Army, the Corps of Engineers, the 11th Engineer Battalion or this Association.

Membership Procedures

Any individual qualified for membership IAW the Association By-Laws (access a copy of the By Laws here) may submit a Membership Application.

The Secretary, upon receipt of a completed application with the required dues, will refer the application to the Secretary and/or Membership VP for review.

The Secretary will notify the prospective member within 30 days of receipt of a completed application with regard to acceptance (or not).

Associate Memberships may be granted by the Board of Directors upon notification that the individual desires one.

Members in good standing may nominate individuals to be considered for Member Emeritus or Honorary Membership status. Recommendations with justification must be submitted in writing to the Board of Directors.

Membership Dues

Association dues for Regular and Associate Members are $15.00 per year payable on the 1st of January each year.

New members, regardless of the month they submit their application, are required to submit payment for the entire year.
